There’s nothing much to know about me…I have more years than I care to admit, I grew up in a dinky town that’s not worth mentioning and I’ve had several relationships I’d just as soon forget.

I’m just a southern girl whose mama was an artist. I didn’t have the talent required for that (although I still try) but thanks to her tutelage, many a gallery exhibitions, and those art teachers that came afterward, I know a great scene when I see it.

That’s why I was drawn to photography. I have an artist’s eye, just not the manual dexterity to capture it on paper or canvas. But through a view finder the vision I see in my head comes to life in all its realistic glory, with a quick click of the shutter.

Everything an artist needs to know about composition and light is relevant in photography. And often, it’s just as difficult to capture that perfect moment that happens in the blink of an eye, as it is to paint Monet’s Water Lilies.

I’ve been snapping pictures for years and after a personally devastating year, I’ve landed in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Not only am I now able to realize my beach bum dream but the area is a landscape lover’s paradise.

So all anyone needs to know about me is that….Out of the bad, the good will come.
